Settings and Locations. (Please insert earphones for the full effect).

Here is where we will be filming our upcoming thriller opening. This location fits the codes and conventions because it is a deserted location. This fits the codes and conventions of a thriller because it introduces and element of fear and supsense as the viewer wonders as to why its abandoned. It also creates suspense and tension because the viewer is constantly expecting someone to appear. The settings inside the bunker help to fit the codes and conventions of a thriller. This is because it is dark and eerie with an aspect of confusion. This helps to fit the codes and conventions of a thriller because the shadows create suspence as the viewer does not know if there is someone/something hiding there. The location also fits the codes and conventions of a thriller because the bunker would be used if there was a nuclear attack. This fits the codes and conventions of a thriller because stereotypically in a thriller movie something devestating has happened to spark the hero to save the day. The setting also fits the codes and conventions of a thriller because there are lots of unknown objects scattered around. For example, the coffins. This fits the codes and conventions of a thriller because it creates a sense of suspense and tension because the viewer will be wondering why these items are here. This will create suspense and tension as the viewer will want to know if they are in use and if so why, for example, if the coffin is used, waiting to be used? Sorry about the logo, we couldn't afford to upgrade to pro.
